Feast of Cyril of Jerusalem

Cyril's instruction is stark: "Even though the senses suggest to you the other, let faith make you firm." He is telling people who have just received the Eucharist for the first time, standing within yards of where Christ was crucified and buried, that what they received was the body and blood of the risen Christ. This is the Catholic doctrine of the Real Presence stated without qualification.
