Death of St. Thérèse of Lisieux
The Little Flower died at 24 from tuberculosis after nine years in Carmel. Her autobiography Story of a Soul, published posthumously, spread her Little Way of spiritual childhood worldwide. Named a Doctor of the Church in 1997 by John Paul II.
