The apologetic argument: Condemned Monothelitism — defined Christ has two wills (divine and human). Pope Agatho's letter provided the theological definition that the council adopted. Posthumously anathematised Pope Honorius I for negligence — but as negligence in suppressing heresy, not for defining it.
