Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord
Christ is transfigured before Peter, James, and John on Mount Tabor, revealing His divine glory. Moses and Elijah appear. The feast was celebrated in the East from the 5th century and universalised by Callixtus III in 1457 after the victory at Belgrade.
