Death of St. Francis Xavier
The Apostle of the East died on the island of Shangchuan off the coast of China, having evangelised India, the Malay Archipelago, and Japan. He is estimated to have baptised over 30,000 people and walked tens of thousands of miles in his missionary journeys.
